National Conservatory of Music – Artistic School
Founded in 1835, the National Conservatory of Music of Lisbon is one of the most prestigious institutions for artistic education in Portugal. With a long-standing tradition in training musicians, composers, and performers, the Conservatory has played a central role in shaping the Portuguese cultural landscape.
Over the years, it has educated generations of artists who have contributed to the development of both classical and contemporary music, nationally and internationally. Its educational offerings cover a wide range of areas, including instrumental performance, voice, composition, and music theory, combining technical excellence with artistic creativity.
Located in the heart of Lisbon, the Conservatory remains a hub of excellence and innovation in music education, committed to fostering culture and emerging talent.

Pedro Vieira de Almeida
Born in Coimbra in 1979, he completed his piano degree at the Lisbon College of Music in 2002. In 2004, he began a Master’s in Musical Arts, specializing in Chamber Music, at NOVA University Lisbon and the Lisbon College of Music, graduating with highest honors. He received awards at the Portuguese Musical Youth Piano Competition (1995) and the Young Musicians Prize in Chamber Music (2002).
With an activecareer, he has performed throughout Portugal, as soloist and chamber musician, and participated in festivals, concert series, and cultural events. He also took part in national and international competitions such as FISP – Palmela International Saxophone Festival and CIMCA / CIMTS. He recorded three CDs with saxophonist João Pedro Silva and contributed to projects in theatre, film, and television. A Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation grant holder from 1994 to 1997, he currently teaches at the National Conservatory’s School of Music in Lisbon.

Daniele dell’Erba
In addition to his passion for music Daniele has a background in international change management consulting and is corporate trainer, university business school lecturer, executive coach, consultant, author and public speaker.
He is a passionate and skilled facilitator that helps his clients through a combination of musical performances and public speaking coaching as well as workshop-based training. He speaks fluently English, French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese.

Jair de Pina
Jair arrived in Portugal in 1984 at 19, coming from Cape Verde to play football. After several seasons in second-division teams, he turned to his true passion: music. Inspired by his cousin Pachinho and Marrocos — founder of Tulipa Negra and África Star he started playing percussion. His career developed with support from Bana, Dany Silva, and Tito Paris, with whom he still collaborates. He has performed with Cape Verdean artists like Paulino Vieira, Ana Firmino, Titina, Maria Alice, Lura (with whom he worked ten years), and Zenaida Chantre. He’s also worked with artists from Africa, Portugal, and Brazil. Since 2000, he’s led the Jair House Project, energizing parties with live percussion and DJs. In 2016, he opened Djairsound, a bar-restaurant in Lisbon with his wife, Filomena Braz de Pina. On live music nights, when not on tour, he joins performers on percussion.

Demba Galissa
Demba Galissa was born in Gabo, Guinea-Bissau, in 1981. His father, Malan Galissa, a griot and son of griots, was a great man and historian from Guinea-Bissau. Together with his mother, Cilin Sissoko, also a griot and singer, and daughter of griots, they introduced their son Demba to the art of music, the kora, and the role of griot or storyteller.
Demba began playing the kora at the age of 12, and shortly after, he started participating in various music festivals in Africa (Guinea-Bissau and Burkina Faso), Europe (Amsterdam, Lisbon, Madrid, Galicia, Barcelona, Tarragona...), and China. He was a kora teacher at the Portuguese Embassy in Guinea-Bissau and later worked as a kora teacher in Barcelona. He currently lives in Lisbon and is known for his innate ability as a griot, storyteller, and performer of his own musical creations.

António Barbosa
António Barbosa, born in 1968 in Uige (Angola),began studying violin at 12 and completed his degree in 1992. He started freelancing in 1993 and founded Quarteto Intempore in 1995. In 1997, he met Tito Paris, starting a long collaboration. He toured with Dany Silva in 1998 and recorded with Jorge Fernando in 2000.
He also worked with Paulo de Carvalho, Carlos do Carmo, Dulce Pontes, and Mariza on international tours. In 2009, he joined Madredeus and Banda Cósmica, recording two albums. He arranged pieces for Eugénio Tavares in 2010 and collaborated with Angolan artists like Eduardo Paím and C4 Pedro between 2011 and 2012. He is currently preparing an instrumental album honoring Cape Verdean music. António Barbosa hasbeen a violin professor at AMAC since 1994.

Luis Breatho
Luis Brito was born in Lisbon, in 1986. His artistic name "Breatho" reminds us that everything is breathing - and breathing is everything -, including all forms of art and expression. He is a published author, with 4 books in Portuguese, having worked in advertising and studied classical music as a child.
He is a multi-interdisciplinary artist and a committed therapist, allways working in the good side of consciousness. He intends to keep creating and healing, provoking and relaxing, because they are the same thing. And if he were to believe in astrology, he would claim that, more than an Aquarius, he is the Aquarius - swimming and diving in the age of Aquarius.

Otis Sax
Otis, a saxophonist originally from Inhambane, Mozambique, has been living in Portugal since 1985.
He has released nine albums to date:

A highlight of his artistic career was performing at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, for UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan and President Bill Clinton.
He has performed at festivals all over the world.
Today, in his solo project, he has a band for concerts, festivals, corporate events, and weddings.
He also performs solo, bringing a dynamic and engaging atmosphere to parties and events.
Otis is also a House music performer, being a pioneer of this type of show in Portugal.

Yoav Yo
Sound has always been my guide — a language beyond words, a path to liberation. For years, I’ve been creating spaces where music and/or voice come together, offering a sanctuary for those seeking harmony within.
My work is an invitation to reconnect with the stillness inside, to embrace the resonance of your own being, and to find peace through the power of sound.

Frederico Ribeiro
Frederico Ribeiro began his musical studies at the age of five at the Escola de Música da Parede and later joined the Conservatório de Música de Cascais, where he won the “Young Talents” competition. He studied with João Lucena e Vale at the National Conservatory of Music, graduating with top marks and earning several national competition prizes.
He took part in numerous masterclasses and festivals and was awarded a Santander Totta Talent Stage scholarship. He later earned a master’s degree in Artistic Interpretation with the project “Alkan, a Forgotten Vanguardist.”
He has performed in several notable concert halls and regularly works as an accompanist in competitions, festivals, and institutions such as Metropolitana, Academia de Música de Lisboa, and choirs like Vox Laci. He currently teaches piano at the Conservatório de Música de Cascais and performs regularly at events and hotels.

Nuno Lourisela
Nuno Lourisela began playing the piano at the age of 7. He started his training at the Valentim de Carvalho music school, where he deepened his knowledge of classical and contemporary repertoire until the age of 14. Later, he joined cover and original bands, exploring genres such as jazz, blues, funk, soul, and acoustic pop. Between the ages of 19 and 20, he was the resident pianist at the nightclub Kapital, where he brought his sound to a more eclectic audience. Throughout his journey, he has maintained a strong connection to the versatility of the piano, blending tradition with improvisation.

DJ Luis Mesquita
A lifelong music lover, Luís Mesquita experiences sound as a natural extension of his creativity and aesthetic sensibility. More than just a listener, he is a true curator of atmospheres, driven by a desire to craft sonic experiences that move, inspire, and awaken.
His approach to music is intuitive and emotional, with special attention to the balance between rhythm, texture, and narrative. Luís always seeks to connect with the audience — a silent dialogue where music is the primary language.
Beyond music passion, Luís is an entrepreneur in digital and tourism industry, fields that influence his artistic vision and the way he shapes his soundscapes.

DJ Bart
Driven by a deep sonic curiosity and a passion for the dancefloor, DJ Bart is emerging as a promising figure in the Portuguese electronic music scene. His musical identity draws inspiration from house and disco's recent comeback, with touches of experimental and atmospheric sounds — always focused on detail, flow, and emotional impact. In his DJ sets, Bart builds immersive narratives where rhythm and texture converge, crafting environments that invite both movement and mindful listening. He's known for his careful reading of space and audience, and for a selection that embraces discovery and cross-genre exploration. Beyond live performances, DJ Bart maintains an active digital presence, sharing mixes and exploring new dimensions of his artistic work.

DJ Luis Magone
Luis Magone works in the field of Multimedia. Concept, Photography, Video, Sound, Production, and Digital Solutions are some of the areas he operates in.
DJing is one of the forms he embodies, through which he shares musical stories in his sets that move both the minds and bodies of his audience. With a careful and up-to-date music selection, he opens a path of mystery and emotion, guiding listeners through melodies and rhythms.
