Mónica de Morais

About
Artist's statement
Painting is a unique form of expression—a visual language that transcends words.
I don’t need them to convey emotions or thoughts—my colors and strokes speak for me.
The gentle light of silence is the refuge where I retreat, creating my intimate space.
There, I share feelings that words cannot reach. In that silence, I find an invitation to reflection and self-discovery.
Each stroke, each color, is a deep dialogue with myself.
Painting and drawing are not just passions—they are the essence of my existence.
