Each unique piece is crafted from forged and welded metal sheets, where the hammer breathes life into sculptures with an organic appearance, featuring subtle forms, volumes, and curves that appear strangely real.
Biography
Luis Rodrigues, born in Lisbon in 1973, is a self-taught sculptor.
From a personal and natural restlessness to create, after experimenting with various materials—including wood, stone, and iron—it was in metal that I found the best way to express my artistic vision. Strongly influenced by fantasy art and ancient mythology, where mysticism, visions, and dreams intertwine, my first works emerged.
These collections of unique pieces serve as a gateway into a strange world where eccentric and mythical characters blend into a surreal universe of dreams, encounters, and missed connections in time and space.
