Artist's statement
It is fascinating to immerse oneself in a world where we simply hover and flow through space, where time does not exist. In another dimension, where everything is energy in dynamic movement. Whether on a journey or in fleeting moments, it is through wandering that a trace of freedom and lightness is left behind.
Biography
Born in northern Portugal, she currently lives near Lisbon.
She holds a degree in Fine Arts from Portugal (ESAD - IPL) and attended the Erasmus Program at Hogeschool voor Wetenshap & Kunst – Sint Lucas Gent, in Belgium. She also has a Postgraduate Degree in Special Education and a Master’s Degree in Teaching Visual Arts.
She has worked in museums and taught Visual Education, Plastic Expression, and Descriptive Geometry in public schools. Additionally, she has conducted painting workshops for students with special educational needs and worked as a socio-cultural animator in kindergartens.
A mother of two, she continues to keep Fine Arts as a vital part of her life, with painting being her primary focus.
Since 1998, she has participated in several individual and collective exhibitions.
