Art, for me, is both a sanctuary and a challenge—a way to channel the complexities of life into something tangible, meaningful, and transformative. As a self-taught abstract painter, I rely on vibrant colors, bold textures, and unrestrained strokes to express the resilience and beauty that
emerge from hardship. My work is not just about aesthetic exploration but also about connection—each piece is an invitation to reflect on our shared human experiences of struggle and triumph.
Biography
Hailing from the vibrant Chicagoland area, Matt Gabler is a self-taught abstract painter whose work radiates with emotion and vitality. As the grandson of world-renowned artist Matt Lamb, Matt Gabler carries on his family’s artistic legacy while forging his own unique path. His paintings are a vivid exploration of life’s challenges and triumphs, using vibrant colors and bold
strokes to transform hardship into beauty and resilience.
Since embarking on his artistic journey in 2021, Matt Gabler has cultivated an impressive career. His extensive CV includes participation in numerous group exhibitions, where his work has consistently garnered awards and critical acclaim. His art has transcended boundaries,
leading to dozens of solo shows across the United States and beyond. Notable highlights of his career include exhibitions at prestigious events such as the Louvre Biennale, Cannes Art Film Festival, and showcases in Austria and Switzerland, among many others.
Matt’s art is deeply rooted in his mission to inspire and uplift. Collaborating with esteemed charities like the Cancer Treatment Centers of America and the Rizzo Foundation, he uses his work to support meaningful causes and bring hope to those in need.
